Chief Diversity Officer
Josefina Bonilla is the President of Color Magazine, a premier, all-inclusive publication that highlights topics of interest revolving around professionals of color. Josefina is responsible for driving business, establishing strategic partnerships, cultivating community relations, and motivating her team to consistently deliver on business objectives and ROI. Josefina’s role requires her to oversee the launching and management of Color Magazine’s signature events such as the Women of Color Leadership and Empowerment Conference, the Chief Diversity Officer Summit, the Men of Color Leadership Conference, and the All-Inclusive Awards. Josefina leads Color Magazine’s marketing campaigns and works with advertising and public relations agencies to create market penetration plans and metrics for multicultural markets.
In 2017, Josefina assumed the role of Chief Diversity Officer of BridgeTower Media, an affiliate of GateHouse Media.
In addition to her board participation for Eastern Bank and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she is on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and the Board of Overseers for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
